Moreover, we have arranged for both Sage and Axe & Rose restaurants to be open for dinner on alternate nights. Yes, you heard it right! Our Sage dinner experience showcases the best of California Cuisine by combining traditional cooking techniques with the allure of seasonal ingredients. Additionally, our menus feature grains, vegetables, farm-specific beef, fowl, and fish selections that take center stage. The imaginative menu is infused with influences from California, France, and the Mediterranean and changes with the season. Furthermore, our dishes include vegetables and herbs from the hotel garden and locally sourced grass-fed beef, eco-sustainable fish, and organic options that are gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan. The extensive wine list has been carefully selected to complement the cuisine.
The romantic Sage dining room is located off the hotel lobby and features Arts and Crafts Mission-style framed prints by Chico artist Dave Simcox. During summer or when weather permits, outdoor dining is available under a pergola-covered terrace overlooking the gardens. Additionally, Sage Restaurant is available for private events and catering.
We serve dinner from Friday to Tuesday evenings with seating from 5:00 PM to close. While walk-ins are welcome, we encourage you to make a reservation, especially in the summer, as dining space is limited. MENU
