NO SMOKING – For the health and comfort of all guests the entire Hotel is non-smoking. This includes the porches, patios and decks.
PARKING – Free off street parking is available directly behind our Mt Shasta inn.
RESERVATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS – Reservations require a credit card number to guarantee. If you don’t have a credit card then we need to receive a check for one night including tax at least ten days prior to your scheduled arrival date. Should you need to change or cancel your reservation please give us at least ten days notice prior to your scheduled arrival date. Failure to provide such notice may result in a charge equal to 50% of your booked stay (if more than 1 night) – or one night’s stay. There is a $25 fee for all cancellations.
A 30 day cancellation notice is required for some holidays, special events and when multiple room bookings are made.
MINIMUM STAY REQUIREMENTS – at times we impose minimum stay requirements. The website will block you from booking rooms for less than the minimum stay in those cases.
RATES – Rates are for single or double occupancy and include full breakfast. There is a $25 charge per day for an extra person in the room, this includes children over the age of 2. Feel free to call if you have questions regarding children or extra persons in a room.
BREAKFAST – Breakfast is available for Hotel guests only. If you would like to bring a guest to Breakfast check with us at least the night before and if space is available your guest will be welcome to join you (for a fee). We can accommodate most diets with advance notice – please notify us of any food allergy issues.
PET FRIENDLY LODGING OPTIONS – Pets are welcome in the first floor guestrooms but not in the Lobby or Dining Room. There is a nice field across the street from the Hotel which is perfect for exercising your dog and we can provide plastic bags to pick up the icky pooh stuff which may then be deposited in our dumpster near the rear parking lot. There is a one time charge of $25 for your pet to join you in the room. Any damage done by your pet will be charged to your card (including carpet cleaning if required).
CHILDREN – Although we provide an atmosphere which is most suitable for adults, well behaved children are welcome with adult supervision. We don’t have any cribs or high chairs so you will need to bring your own if required.
We frequently get asked what we mean by a “well behaved” child – basically, we expect that children will be quiet, not run up and down halls, not scream loudly, yell etc. If you have a very young or active child, our hotel may not be the best place for you to stay. We are adding this to the website because some parents are asking that we post more specific information that would help them determine whether or not to stay at the hotel with their children.
CHECK IN/CHECK OUT – Rooms are available for occupancy after 3PM. However if you arrive early and the room is ready we will gladly check you in. If you think that your arrival will be after 9PM please contact us so that we can make a special arrangement for you. Check out is 11AM.
OFFICE HOURS – The office is usually open from 8AM to 9PM. There are no telephones in the guestrooms so if you are trying to reach one of our guests please call during office hours unless of course it is an emergency.
TV/TELEPHONES – Our guestrooms do not have televisions or telephones. There is television in a downstairs common room. Cell service in McCloud is generally good.
BATHROOM AMENITIES – All guestrooms have hair dryers, glycerin soap and shampoo. Bathrobes are furnished in the suites.
INTERNET – Wireless internet service is provided although the signal strength varies by room.
