The McCloud Hotel family would like to wish you joy and happiness this holiday season by extending a special thank you to our guests. Our guests may choose from a 3-course prix fixe menu for $30 or a la carte items from our regular dining menu. An extensive wine and beer list compliments your meal with a menu of locally made desserts to round out your dining experience. If you haven’t been to the McCloud Hotel, you have yet to truly experience Mount Shasta. The McCloud Hotel has been lovingly restored and offers the perfect getaway with historic hospitality and luxurious accommodations. Sweets for Sweethearts!

Sage Restaurant is debuting their new dessert menu this Valentine’s weekend and it’s loaded with something for everyone. Chocolate lovers will find plenty of choices from Molten Lava Cake, Triple Chocolate Mousse andflourless-chocolate-cake Chocolate Hazelnut Cake (gluten-free). If berries are more to your liking you can choose from Pennington Farm’s Raspberry Rhubarb Pie or New Zealand Pavlova topped with Lemon Curd, Whipped Cream and Blueberries (gluten-free). If you’re yearning for a cool treat to end your meal we serve real vanilla bean ice-cream with choice of Seasonal Berries, Chocolate Syrup or Bacon Crumbles and Warm Maple Syrup. Last but certainly not least is the star of the show, Three-cheese Cheesecake served with Sliced Strawberries and Fresh made Whipped Cream.

Our chef has prepared a special Four Course Prix Fixe Thanksgiving Menu where you can enjoy McCloud Hotel’s version of traditional and family favorites. Expertly chosen wine pairings will also be available to complement each course.  We are offering two seatings at 2pm and 4:30pm. Reserve your table soon.

Sage Restaurant, located in the McCloud Hotel is Open Year Round!

The new owners of the McCloud Hotel opened Sage restaurant this year and have been getting rave reviews.  According to Marc Beauchamp in writing for the Record Searchlight Redding.com, he and his wife “had an extraordinary and memorable meal.”  (see entire review at Dining Out Now Dec 3, 2015)  Sample menu items: Crab cake $14, Homemade tomato Soup $8., Filet Mignon $28, Mt. Lassen Steelhead Trout $22., Chicken Pot Pie $15., Butternut Squash Ravioli in a Sage Cream Sauce topped with a medley of Sautéed mushrooms $14.

New Menu – New Dining Hours!

The Amethyst Wine Garden (at the McCloud Hotel) is now open 5 nights a week (Wednesday – Sunday) from 5:30 – 8 PM.  Check out our new menu under the Dining Tab on the website.  New items include:  Grilled Rib Eye Steak and Chicken Under a Brick – along with our old favorites like Salmon over lentils and Pot Roast.  Our Wine list has also been updated – we now have about 60 wines for you to choose from!  We look forward to seeing you soon!
